Diligent Data Services was founded on June 2, 1995 by Stephen Harris, who grew the company into a successful information retrieval company specializing in background checks and public record services. In 2016 Stephen retired and ownership passed to Rebecca Harris, who has continued to grow the company with new clients and expanded services.
Our Management Team
Rebecca has a Master’s of Business Administration and is a certified SHRM Certified Professional. She is an active member of both the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce and the local chapter of BNI (Business Network International), where she has served as Chapter Secretary/Treasurer and Vice President. Rebecca is also on the board for Cornell Coop Extension of Schenectady County, and on the sponsorship board of the Capital Region HR Association. In June 2022, Rebecca was a featured presenter at the Capital Region Disrupt HR event where she spoke on benefits and how to turn Mondays into Fridays.
Andrew has 30 years’ experience managing I/T systems, staff, and business priorities. He is an adept programmer, skilled in organizational management, and proficient in systems and networking. He brings with him exceptional technical and business expertise and guidance. Andrew is responsible for the solid foundations needed for the company’s continued growth.
